Yesterday Maricarmen and Ricardo, biology students from the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, returned to Mérida after a month at UF. Getting to know them was a wonderful experience – they are both so engaged, interesting, sharp, and motivated. I hope that I can share part of their path in the future. Their last night here we ate at the Top. As a nice recuerdo, they gave me a beautiful trova cd from Mari’s boyfriend, Andrés Tinoco (links to his myspace page).
