(Click “continue reading” to see 7 photos on the beach.) Every year Yucatecans, and all of Mexico for that matter, is on vacation for semana santa — a two week period before and after Easter. These photos were taken on the north coast of Yucatán. Most of Mérida and those living in the northern part of the state vacationed at the beach. It was beautiful.
It’s Mother’s Day soon, so Walmart and many other stores in Mérida have washers, stoves, and many other like items advertised to make mom’s life easier. That’s all I will say on this matter.
